Remember the Count on Sesame Street? I can't exactly recall when I learned to count, but I like to think that he played a large role in my mastering that skill. I still say 'One, ha, ha, ha!' on occasion.
What I learned from the Count is that learning to count should be fun. When kids have fun learning, they pick up on concepts so much faster!
